The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the New York Knicks 120-109 on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. Zach Randolph led the way with 31 points and 25 rebounds while Rudy Gay finished with 27 points and 5 boards. Al Harrington led the Knicks with 31 points off the bench while David Lee added 21 points. Gay will become a restricted free agent this summer. He is anathletic and versatile player that can the 2,3, and 4 at 6'8. The product out of UConn is averaging 20.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and almost a blockper game. Memphis is hoping to keep him as teams will be offering$11-14M a year for his services. The Grizzlies will have the right tomatch any offer within 7 days. The Knicks will travel to the Quicken Loans Arena in Clevelandtonight to visit LeBron and company. The Cavs will not have ShaquilleO'Neal for the remainder of the regular season and for the start of the post-season as he underwent thumb surgery this morning. The Cavs will not require Shaq's services until they run into DwightHoward and the Magic in the playoffs. The Cavs currently own the East'sbest record at 46-14 and lead the Magic by 6 games. New York will be without forward Wilson Chandler who did not make the trip due to personal reasons. Look for Al Harrington to start inhis place and have the responsibility of guarding LeBron James.
